Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something is not right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work. In every case, the first step is simple: email support@halden1980.com with your order number — we resolve most requests within 3 business days.

Returns

  • Return window: 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • Condition: items must be unused, unworn and in their original condition and packaging, with all accessories included.
  • How to start: email support@halden1980.com with your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
  • Return address: Once your request is approved, we email you a return authorization with the return address and instructions. Please do not ship anything before receiving it — parcels sent without authorization cannot be traced to your order.
  • Restocking fees: none.

Exchanges

Need a different size or colour? Exchanges are accepted within the same 30-day window, subject to stock. Email us first and we will confirm availability and send instructions.

Damaged, Defective or Wrong Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, email support@halden1980.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or short video of the issue. Once confirmed, we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice — and we cover any return shipping.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Our error (damaged, defective or wrong item): we cover return shipping, and original shipping charges are refunded.
  • Change of mind or fit: the customer covers the return shipping cost. Original shipping charges are not refunded, except where the law requires it (see EU/UK customers below).

We recommend a tracked shipping service for returns, as we cannot be responsible for parcels lost on the way back to us.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we email you to confirm. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional business days to show the credit.

Items returned used, damaged by use, incomplete, or outside the return window may be refused or refunded partially, in proportion to their condition.

Cancellations

You can cancel free of charge any time before your order is dispatched — email us as soon as possible and you will receive a full refund. After dispatch, the order can be returned under this policy once it arrives.

Customers in the EU, EEA and UK

In addition to this policy, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. On withdrawal we refund all payments received, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days. See our Cancel Contract page for details and the withdrawal form. Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Before Contacting Your Bank

If you have any problem with an order, please contact us first. We can almost always solve it faster than a bank dispute, which can take weeks to resolve.
